Foreman – Galway CityD.O.E: €75k + PackageCompany Overview:O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Foreman on behalf of our client, a leading contractor with multiple live projects. The successful candidate must have strong Mechanical and Electrical fit-out experience for a project located in Coolough, Galway City.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and work in partnership with the Site Manager.
  • Oversee all finishing works on site, ensuring top-quality workmanship.
  • Coordinate with tradesmen, subcontractors, and site management to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks, addressing any defects or issues promptly.
  • Manage timelines and work schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Liaise with project managers and provide updates on progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Construction Management and/ or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Fit Out experience essential.
  • Experience in residential developments required, multistorey experience desirable.
  • Practical experience in steel frame building projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of trades, and in particular, carpentry.
  • Background in dealing with mechanical and electrical contractors.
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
