Deli Manager

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the deli department, ensuring high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation
• Lead, train, and motivate the deli team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong team performance
• Oversee stock control, ordering, waste management, and margin performance to meet department targets
• Monitor sales and identify opportunities to drive revenue and improve profitability
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Develop and implement promotions, meal deals, and seasonal offerings to enhance customer engagement
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and merchandising throughout the deli
• Work closely with store management and other departments to support overall store performance
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to build a strong and capable deli team

• Previous experience in a Deli Manager role within a supermarket, convenience store, or forecourt environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Proven track record of achieving strong sales and margin results
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Customer-focused with a passion for fresh food and maintaining high standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings and weekends
