- In consultation with our EHS Manager support the evolution, coordination and implementation of the site LOTO programme
- Monitor the performance of the Site LOTO Programme on an ongoing basis
- Work in conjunction with Maintenance and Production Staff to meet the required goals in relation to LOTO Programme delivery
- Participate in LOTO risk assessments
- Develop LOTO procedures and train all relevant personnel
- Complete weekly audits on LOTO Permits and Risk Assessments
- Drive the development of a strong safety-first culture inclusive of all colleagues and contractors
- In consultation with the EHS team, support the evolution and coordination of the site behavioural safety programme
- Monitoring and Report on the performance of Site Behavioural Programme
- Support the key deliverables as per site Health and Safety Roadmap (Contractor Management, Behavioural Programme, LOTO, Emergency Response, and Ergonomics) and Environmental Roadmap
- Ensure the site is in full compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines
- Monitor LOTO training needs analysis, organise and/or conduct training programmes to the appropriate standard and maintain records
- Support compliance with the Company Risk Management System
- In conjunction with Front Line Management to Coach/Guide/Advise in Accident/Incident Investigations and ensure preventative measures are put in place
- Completions of EHS risk assessments, implement controls, and maintain safety statement and risk registers
- Prepare mitigation plans to address risks raised, which could include process modification, changing SOP's, training etc.
- As part of a wider project team assist and manage the delivery of key projects that have an impact on the
- site objectives, these include but are not limited to: confined space, working at height, chemicals. contractor management, ISO 14001
- Embody the principles and philosophies of DaMaWay – make DaMaWay real on a daily basis through practicing, participating, owning and cascading the key principles (zoning, SIM, problem solving, continuous improvement etc.)
- Third level qualification in Engineering/Health and Safety or related discipline
- At least one year relevant experience in an FMCG, fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment with demonstrable and transferable skills
- Knowledge and experience of Lock Out Tag Out would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver training and presentations to groups
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
- Proficient numerical ability to record interpret and analyse key process data
- Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills
