- Lead the technical delivery of banking projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time with high quality standards.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, engineering and test leads to drive delivery.
- Ensure the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis and mapping stage
- Stay abreast of the latest Banking industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Assist clients in leading discussions with various Banking vendors on transformation projects.
- 8+ years of strong experience in technical project management, with a focus on banking systems
- Strong experience in stakeholder management
- Have knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) majoring in Agile (Scrum / Kanban)
- Have ability to build and manage relationships across business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of banking applications and architecture and industry regulations
- Good understanding of Credit or Core Banking systems
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects end to end on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in delivering business value from technology as well as communicating the value to senior business stakeholders.
- Experience working in banks across multiple product domains (e.g., Retail, Corporate, SME, Treasury)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with various project management tools and methodologies.
- Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
- Have a strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in IT or relevant field.
