
Senior Mechanical Engineer

- Lead the design and delivery of complex building services projects across various sectors (commercial, healthcare, education, etc.), with an initial focus on our substantial commercial real estate portfolio.
- Develop innovative and sustainable mechanical solutions, incorporating net-zero carbon principles, embodied carbon analysis, and circular economy strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, clients, and other specialists, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
- Oversee contractor coordination, ensuring successful delivery and commissioning of mechanical installations.
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification design experience within a consultancy environment.
- Experience in the Irish market (or in the UK).
- Chartered Engineer status (or near chartered) with a proven track record in delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations (including BCAR) and relevant industry standards.
- Experience managing contractors and overseeing on-site work, including commissioning and maintenance considerations.
