The Community Employment (CE) programme (more commonly known as the 'CE Scheme') is designed to help people who are long-term unemployed (or otherwise disadvantaged) to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within communities. To provide education, training and work opportunities for Community Employment participants, Administrative Assistants assist with the day-to-day operations of an office by doing tasks such as filing paperwork, answering phone calls, preparing documents for meetings, and managing the calendar of their supervisors.
