- Project Oversight: Manage a diverse portfolio of civil, structural, and coastal infrastructure projects, ensuring technical, financial, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Delivery: Lead the engineering review and approval process for design solutions ensuring technical accuracy and design compliance.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure full alignment with Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS), and uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Client Engagement: Lead client relationships, providing strategic input, tender support, and ensuring delivery excellence that exceeds expectations.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop engineers and project teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Business Leadership: Collaborate with Directors and participate in business development to aid the growth of the Marine & Coastal sector within UK & Ireland.
- Financial Management: Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, contributing to departmental P&L and profitability.
- Regulatory Coordination: Manage the planning and coordination of licenses, permits, and approvals for major multidisciplinary projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Marine & Coastal engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects in a project or programme management capacity.
- Chartered Engineer status (EI, ICE, or equivalent under the Washington Accord).
- Track record of securing and delivering projects in UK and/or Ireland.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated success in delivering technically robust, financially viable projects.
- Broad knowledge of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering for marine infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Strong report writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
- Experience in project planning, approvals, and permits, including MMO & FRAP (UK), MUL & MAC (Ireland).
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and Irish/UK regulatory standards
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
