- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary maintenance team supporting site operations
- Take responsibility for a defined plant process area
- Plan and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
- Coordinate major shutdowns and plant overhauls
- Manage contractors and external service providers for specific jobs and projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues to improve plant availability and reliability
- Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, environmental and operational standards
- Scope, support, and deliver large-scale plant improvement projects from construction to installation
- Lead commissioning activities and ensure structured handover to operation
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer (or similar discipline)
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven technical ability with strong commercial awareness
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and AutoCAD
- Highly organised, with attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
- Track record of adding value and contributing positively to previous employers
