
Helpdesk Support Engineer

- Minimum third-level diploma or degree in an IT-related discipline
- 1-2 years' experience in an IT Helpdesk or similar technical support environment
- Working knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft365 and network monitoring tools
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated responsiveness, accountability, and follow-through on assigned tasks
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation in all interactions
- Experience in endpoint protection, backup monitoring, patch management, and firewall administration
- Exposure to disaster recovery planning and cybersecurity practices (e.g., penetration testing, awareness training)
- Ability to document and enhance IT processes and contribute to internal knowledge base
- Interest in cloud technologies, with progression towards AWS and or Microsoft certification
