The main purpose of this role is to manage the accounts payable function in the hospital including the raising of purchase orders and GRN’S, management of (VIM) Vendor Invoice Management on the IFMS system to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner. The monitoring of PPI to ensure delivery of the hospital’s legislative and financial obligations pertaining to suppliers.The post holder will also provide support to the patient accounts department as required.The Grade V Finance Officer occupies a pivotal role within the structure of Finance Department in Tipperary University Hospital. The role will include both service delivery and service development in accordance with all relevant regulations and procedures including compliance with the HSE’s National Financial Regulations other relevant financial policies and procedures such as taxation and vat.The role will also involve Daily Management/ Supervision of Administrative staff within the Finance Department Tipperary University Hospital.
