Our client, is an IT solutions business that builds regulatory reporting software and provides specialised regulatory expertise and customised high-value services to their clients. They are seeking to hire an experienced Regulatory Analyst to join their Managed Services Reg Team.

About the team

The Managed Services Reg team is responsible for the full cycle of preparation of
regulatory reporting for Asset Managers utilising in-house built solutions. The team
works closely with other departments to deliver exceptional service to clients, while
gathering understanding of clients' needs and communicating it back to the software
development team to help guide the strategic development of the software offering.

About the role

As Regulatory Support Analyst you will work closely with our clients on the
preparation of regulatory filings, including AIFMD Annex IV, Form PF, CPO-PQR,
ADV and Solvency II. This requires a thorough understanding of accounting
principles, knowledge of financial instruments, and exceptional data handling skills.

Key Tasks

Responsible for filing generation & completion
Processing clients' data using in-house platforms along with other tools
Analyse any discrepancies & variances in Excel
Actively engage with other team members
Monitor data traffic during the filing
Capturing changes & client specific circumstances
Responsible for scope monitoring (within boundaries of SLA)

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Master degree in Finance/Economics/FinTech/Business Studies or equivalent –

Studying CFA/FRM/CAIA is a plus * 5+ years of experience in hedge fund/asset management mid or back-

office/prime broker/investment or custodian bank and similar with a special focus
on risk/cash & collateral management/risk exposure & mitigation techniques/VaR
and other risk measures * Exceptional & proven experience of data handling & manipulation techniques

knowledge and/or studying SQL/VBA/Python is a plus * Exceptional & proven analytical skills

Outstanding knowledge of financial products & markets
Great understanding of prime broker operations & margin statements
Expert understanding of Excel
Exceptional attention to detail
Self-starter personality with high degree of initiative
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven track record of direct client facing activities & experience
Strong time management & planning skills
Assertive and with a strong execution skills and track record
Supervisory and coordination skills
