Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as IT Lead within a large digital Transformation project consisting of ERP, EPOS and O365 Tenant Consolidation Workstreams
  • Develop, implement, and manage ITIL processes to ensure efficient and effective IT service management.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring optimal service delivery and value for business needs.
  • Drive operational excellence by continuously evaluating and improving processes, technologies, and vendor performance.
  • Enhance customer service by providing training to employees on software and hardware usage, troubleshooting issues, and offering technical support as needed.
  • Manage incident response and resolution, ensuring timely and effective handling of IT-related issues.
  • Collaborate with group-wide technology teams to contribute to the overall technology direction across Uniphar.
  • Liaise with architects to develop digital solutions that support and align with the divisional strategy.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for operations, infrastructure, projects, and service delivery to measure performance and identify areas for efficiency.
  • Manage the overall IT budget and vendors, ensuring alignment with budget expectations.
  • Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT domains (ERP, EPOS, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, application performance, etc.).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and third-party providers.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly Service Design, Service Transition, and Continual Service Improvement.
  • Project Management: Experience working in a program/project environment, with a focus on delivering IT solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Essential:
  • 7+ years of experience in IT leadership or a similar role
  • Experience with ERP & EPOS technologies
  • Proven experience delivering IT solutions in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and architecture.
  • Experience working within an ITIL-aligned IT service management framework.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (or higher).
  • Experience in program/project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Experience in the [industry/sector, e.g., Retail Pharmacies, pharmaceutical, logistics, etc.].
