- Relay daily brief created by Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor to team members
- Prioritization of jobs if required, tasks such as:
- Opening and closing store procedures
- Cleaning
- Replenishment
- Pricing/tagging checks
- Standards throughout all of the day
- Restocking sundries such as bags
- Deliveries
- Target board updates
- Any emails to the store account throughout the day
- Ensure lunches are taken on time
- Filling in handover sheet for the next day relaying any issues with staff/discrepancies/customers/jobs to be dealt with by management.
- Cash up at the end of the day
- Contribute positively towards the sales budgets for the store through achieving personal sales targets.
- To contribute to the Store by delivering World Class values and offering outstanding customer service at all times.
- To be a brand ambassador by promoting the brand and heritage.
- To maintain visual merchandising standards as per Company policy
- To maintain hygiene standards both front and back of house
- To undertake and apply accurate Company administration procedures including the processing of cash and credit card transactions through the till system.
- To actively support store management procedures, in line with Company policy.
- Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and Company procedures are adhered to and remedial action is taken if required.
- Undertake any other reasonable activity, as may be required by management.
- Excellent customer care and selling skills
- Understanding of requirements to work in a target orientated environment
- Acting with a professional and respectful manner to all individuals
- Understanding current market trends in relation to clothing/ fashion
- Self motivated and organised
- Information Technology skills including experience of EPOS systems, MS Outlook
- Understanding and ability to implement and maintain visual merchandising standards
- To have an appreciation of Barbour’s sporting heritage and its customers’ requirements
