Matrix Recruitment is working with a long-established and highly regarded company that provides bespoke solutions across major projects in Ireland and the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their team in North County Dublin.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop custom design solutions for a range of large-scale building projects.
  • Collaborate closely with client-side design teams to align technical solutions with architectural and structural requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure designs are optimised for production, transport, and installation.
  • Take part in both early-stage concept development and detailed design phases.
  • Prepare structural calculations and review drawings for final production.
  • Work alongside senior engineers and experienced designers on high-value projects.
  • Some travel within Ireland and the UK may be required for site meetings and inspections.
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
  • 10 years' experience in a structural design role with exposure to Reinforced concrete and Steel design.
  • Ideally a Chartered Engineer
  • Familiar with Eurocodes and Building Regulations.
  • Skilled in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Excel, SketchUp).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
