- Define solution architectures that translate business needs into realisable system designs leveraging the latest AWS IaaS and PaaS capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to conduct the analysis required to support solution definition.

- Analyse complex technology challenges and structure innovative solutions.
- Work across a broad range of solutions including packaged applications, custom systems, integration platforms, data processing, and web technologies.
- Integrate intelligent capabilities into enterprise architectures, leveraging models, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Design and implement AI and machine learning-enabled solutions using cloud-native tools to enhance automation, analytics, and decision-making.
- Contribute to IT strategy, architecture governance, technology evaluations, and play a key role in technology decision-making processes.
- Incorporate DevOps practices into solution design and ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate and standardise cloud deployments.
- Support clients in implementing FinOps practices to optimise cloud cost management and governance.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS IaaS and PaaS platforms, including AWS Architecture-related certification (or a strong commitment to achieve certification within a reasonable timeframe).
- A solid technology background, preferably with development experience in Java or .NET solutions.
- A strong track record in architecting and overseeing the delivery of complex cloud solutions.
- Passion for innovation, creative problem-solving, and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong consulting skills, including influencing, communication (verbal and written, fluent English), leadership, and facilitation.
- Proven ability to liaise between customers, vendors, project management, and technical teams on solution-related issues.
- Broad experience across application integration, infrastructure technologies, and demonstrated ability to bring these together into cohesive IT architectures.
- Excellent knowledge of multi-system landscape architecture and design techniques.
- Ability to draft solution architectures and proposals.
- Ability to research emerging technologies and assess their relevance to clients.
- Knowledge of other major cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Experience in technical project planning, budgeting, and tracking is an advantage.
- Exposure to technology specification for bid and sales cycles is an advantage.
- General knowledge of DevOps pipelines and associated tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Understanding of FinOps principles and experience in implementing cost optimisation strategies in cloud environments.
- A third-level degree in Computer Science (or related discipline).
