
Internal Sales Team Leader

This role will require high levels of organisation, customer service and commercial awareness. Salary of up to £25k.
Core responsibilities:
- Handling inbound calls in a personable and professional manner from a variety of clientele, including builders, end users and merchants
- Ensuring that customer queries are responded to promptly and dealt with to the highest level
- Line management of the Internal Sales Advisors and Technical Admin team
- Working collaboratively as part of the Internal Sales Team, with all team members (GB, NI and ROI)
- Ensuring that appraisals, performance management protocols and all employee relation processes are adhered to in the correct time frame and format
- Working effectively with dedicated external sales team and their customer areas
- Preparing summaries and reports for your line manager, and others when required
- Deputise for the Internal Sales Manager
- Monitoring KPI reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Maintaining progress and improve the ERP and CRM system in-line with the organisation and market demands
- Providing and implementing own solutions for process improvements for current SOP's to improve efficiencies and instil a continuous improvement culture, alongside the Internal Sales Manager
- Managing escalated and complex customer queries to the highest level
- Experience as a Line Manager
- Knowledge of CRM/lead to conversion sales experience desirable
- Excellent communicator with the drive to succeed and provide exceptional customer service
- Analytical thinker who can find solutions outside the box when required
- Professional and motivated to develop themselves to become an integral part of the team
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
