An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Director of Nursing to lead and shape nursing services within a leading private healthcare provider in Cork .This is a pivotal leadership role for an ambitious and experienced nursing professional who is passionate about clinical excellence, patient safety, and service innovation. You will play a key role in driving quality standards, developing nursing strategy, and fostering a culture of excellence across all clinical areas.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services
  • Promote a culture of patient-centred care, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and professional development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with executive and multidisciplinary teams to deliver organisational goals
  • Drive quality improvement and innovation across clinical services
Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
  • Significant senior nursing leadership experience, ideally within an acute hospital setting
  • Proven track record in quality improvement, governance, and service delivery
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification (Master’s level desirable)
