Manage Supervise and support a team of RTR accountants; provide coaching, training and performance feedback
Supervise day-to-day RTR operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and general ledger close
Lead month-end, quarter-end and year end close activities
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with accounting standards.
Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the team and other areas of the business
Establish a strong relationship within group finance and other financial functions to support them with accounting related questions
Ensure effective use of SAP and participate in projects to drive improvements; drive process improvements and automation within the RTR function to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work
Supervise the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local requirements in Ireland
Ensure compliance with internal controls and support internal and external audits.
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are up to date
Monitor KPIs, analyse performance, and implement corrective actions as needed
Act as the point of contact for finance and business stakeholders

A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven expertise in record-to-report processes within the FMCG industry.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools. SAP S4Hana preferably
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
