  • Manage Supervise and support a team of RTR accountants; provide coaching, training and performance feedback
  • Supervise day-to-day RTR operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and general ledger close
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end and year end close activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the team and other areas of the business
  • Establish a strong relationship within group finance and other financial functions to support them with accounting related questions
  • Ensure effective use of SAP and participate in projects to drive improvements; drive process improvements and automation within the RTR function to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Supervise the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local requirements in Ireland
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are up to date
  • Monitor KPIs, analyse performance, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Act as the point of contact for finance and business stakeholders

  • A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in record-to-report processes within the FMCG industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools. SAP S4Hana preferably
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
