
Electrician / Maintenance Technician

- Perform electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on high-speed bottling equipment and supporting infrastructure.
- relevant SOPs, equipment validation and controls for the operation and safe running of lines and plant machinery
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on control panels, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or electrical systems as required.
- Assist in new installations of production equipment working & training
- Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling, upskilling & other job-related competencies.
- Maintain the plant and its equiment in a audit ready state at all times
- Other dutices as directed by your manager
- Fully qualified Electrician ( proof of certification will be required)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting; FMCG or beverage industry experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience with high-speed, automated bottling or packaging lines highly desirable but not essential
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
