Salary: Competitive, DOE + BenefitsA well-established main contractor with an excellent reputation in the healthcare and commercial sectors is seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator for a major healthcare project in Galway. This is a full-time position offering long-term work, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate telehandler machinery safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.
- Carry out labouring duties when the telehandler is not in use.
- Transport materials around site, ensuring clear access and tidy storage.
- Perform daily and weekly inspections and report any faults or damage.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, wearing full PPE when outside the cab.
- Maintain excellent site housekeeping and support overall site operations.
- Valid CSCS Plant Operator Card , Safe Pass, and Manual Handling Certificate.
- 5+ years' experience operating a telehandler (less experienced candidates may be considered).
- 360 Excavator Ticket and Slinger/Signaller CSCS (desirable).
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, responsible attitude.
