A Midlands-based food company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of its mechanical and electrical systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role focuses on preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults efficiently
Identify and implement equipment improvements to enhance performance
Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers to ensure availability

Requirements:

Relevant trade qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines
Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Familiarity with maintenance management systems; PLC experience (e.g., Allen Bradley) is advantageous
