As a manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing and delivering a wide range of both core actuarial assignments (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 17, peer review, actuarial function support, actuarial transformation) and multi-disciplinary assignments across wider fields (e.g. risk and regulation, tech-enabled services).Acting as your clients’ main point of day-to-day contact on actuarial engagements.Managing junior members of the team, while being supported by senior management, to deliver high quality and timely responses to PwC engagements.Contributing to the development of new consulting propositions. You will be supported throughout your development with ample training and guidance from senior staff within the practice.Experiences and skillsWe are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team. We’re looking for the following experience and skills:Qualified actuary with 5+ years of relevant experience in the life insurance or reinsurance market from either a consultancy or industry background. Solvency II and/or financial reporting experience are key.
