Warehouse/Forklift Operative

- Unloading/transfer of bulk chemical shipments at Foynes dock to storage tanks/warehouse
- Filling/loading of chemicals into tankers/trucks for transport to parent company in Shannon and/or directly to customers
- Forklift driving/shunting
- Use of other machinery: Teleporter/MEWP
- Use of pumps, valves, compressors, batch controllers, etc. for liquid transfer
- Stock taking, recording data, transferring data/information to parent site in Shannon
- Communication with ships, hauliers and parent company
- Directly involved with the offloading of material through our shipping partners, which will include occasionally working unsociable hours
- Initially, 08:00 – 16:30
- After completed training, 11:30 – 20:00
- €15.52 per hour
- Shift allowance of €32 per day – €160 per week
- Gradual wage increase, after completed training

- Forklift Driver: Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Chemical Awareness Training
- Experience of using personal protective equipment
- Familiar with the use of pumps, valves, compressors, batch controllers, etc. for liquid transfer
- Familiar with the Safety Data Sheets for Chemicals
- Familiar with the requirements for the transport of hazardous loads by road
- Computer Literate, with the use of software packages such as Word, Excel
- Full time (39 hours per week)
