Our client, a well-established firm of professional accountants based in Wexford Town, are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Qualified/Part-qualified Accountant to join their firm. This is a fulltime permanent position and a competitive salary, based on experience, will be on offer to the successful candidate. This is a very exciting opportunity for a driven Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant, with ample opportunities for growth within this firm.About the Role:Our client's mission is to deliver outstanding professional, efficient and friendly service to their wide variety of clients. To help them achieve these aims and as an integral member of the team, your role will encompass the following:Preparation of financial statements for sole-traders, partnerships, audit exempt companies and companies subject to audit
Liaising with clients to obtain relevant information in order to resolve any queries
Preparation and completion of VAT, RCT, Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns for submission to Revenue
Liaising with Revenue on client's behalf
Performing ad-hoc duties as requiredAbout you:In order to be successful in this role you will need:To be CPA, ACA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified with 3 - 5 years accounting experience, gained from working within an Accounting Practice
Good technical knowledge with strong accounts preparation experience
To be self-motivated and a team player
Strong IT skills
To be confident, articulate and comfortable dealing with clients
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritisePlease note, this role is fully office bound within no hybrid working model available.Please also note, in order to be considered for this position, applicants must already be fully authorised to reside and work in Ireland, without requiring a visa/permit/sponsorship.
