- Proactively promote and sell products to existing and new customers within the assigned territory
- Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling and lead follow-ups
- Achieve agreed sales targets and performance outcomes
- Manage your time and territory effectively to maximise customer engagement
- Proven sales experience within the construction sector, with a strong focus on customer service
- Sound knowledge of building materials, ideally timber and related products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider sales team
- Confident IT user, with experience in Microsoft Office
