This placement offers an opportunity to learn and grow within a successful accountancy practice. During their time with us, the successful participant will gain a wide variety of knowledge and skills through both informal and formal training. The candidate will learn a variety of skills in the job through mentoring. The successful participant will gain experience assisting and shadowing members of our team of accountants; the participant will be taught and mentored in: - - Handling various administrative tasks - Assisting with accounts preparation, VAT returns, Payroll Processing, - Assisting with queries from clients of the practice, taking phone calls and email management. - Attending training programmes as required. - Assisting with management and maintenance of data and queries accurately on internal IT/CRM databasesRole Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: - Payroll - R.C.T - Company Secretarial - AML and Due Diligence - GDPR - Accounting Standards Informal: - Administration - Customer service - Digital Skills Development such as integrated accounting software, Payroll and Revenue Online Systems - Teamwork - Organisational Skills
