Candidate will be a core leader & member of our Global IT Site support team. Candidate will be providing & owning support at multiple sites in multiple countries across the Europe region. Candidate will be working with other leaders across our global IT teams including but not limited to, our network, storage, INFOSEC, Desktop and PMO teams.Job Responsibilities:Provide technical oversight for IT infrastructure, platforms, and services, including servers, networks, endpoints, and enterprise applications.Define and enforce technical standards, architectures, and best practices.Review and approve system designs, changes, and implementations.Lead, mentor, and manage IT engineers, administrators, and support staff.Drive performance management, skill development, and succession planning.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT services.Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.Drive automation and operational efficiency across IT services.Manage delivery of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and budget.Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external vendors.Track risks, dependencies, and deliverables, escalating issues as required.Act as the technical point of contact for business and leadership stakeholders.Translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.Provide regular updates on service performance, risks, and improvements.Ensure adherence to corporate security policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.Support audits, risk assessments, and security initiatives.Requirements:18-20 years of progressive IT experience, with strong emphasis on enterprise IT infrastructure.·Minimum 6 years in a technical leadership or people‑management role, managing engineers, administrators, or support teams.Proven experience managing large‑scale, multi‑site or global IT environments.Demonstrated success in leading infrastructure modernization or technology transformation initiatives.Strong hands‑on knowledge and leadership experience in one or more following areas:-IT InfrastructureWindows Server and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group PolicyVirtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix)Storage and backup technologies (SAN/NAS, Veeam, Commvault)-IT InfrastructureWindows Server and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group PolicyVirtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix)Storage and backup technologies (SAN/NAS, Veeam, Commvault)-Automation & ToolsScripting and automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similarMonitoring and logging platformsQualificationBachelor of Engineering Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldCheck what we can offer you:Competitive salary25 days holiday per yearPrivate Medical and Dental plans, Income Protection and Life InsuranceGroup Personal Pension PlanCycle to work scheme and gym subsidy5 days paid time to volunteer to give back to our communitiesEmployee Stock Purchase PlanThe opportunity to work for a Great Place to Work© & Fortune 100 organizationAdditional Information:Cadence achieved a ‘Top 20’ ranking in the Great Place to Work awards in many countries in 2023.Cadence is committed to equal employment opportunity and employment equity throughout all levels of the organization.
