Environmental, Health & Safety SpecialistCREGG are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist II to work with Galway's world leading multi-national medical device manufacturer.
We seek a candidate ideally from a machinery related OR strong risk assessment background who has expertise in health and safety. Working hours: 39hr work week. Monday-Friday with a 1pm Friday finishAs the EHS Spesialist your role will involve equipment risk assessments, safety reviews, and advising equipment designers on directives and standards relating to equipment safety.Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing and Co-ordinating hazard and risk assessments for manufacturing equipment-newly installed production lines in clean room environment etc
- Safety control system reviews to ensure compliance to standards.
- Ensuring equipment meets appropriate safety requirements.
- Support ATEX and FMEA assessments of new manufacturing processes.
- Technical Qualification (Engineering, Electrical, EHS or other) required.
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, etc.) required.
