- Set an example for our residents by providing them with excellent nursing care and making sure their clinical needs are addressed and tracked.
- Develop and revise individualized care plans for each resident in cooperation with the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist and guide care assistants and junior nurses, offering instruction and direction to guarantee that clinical standards are continuously fulfilled.
- Make ensuring that medication is administered safely and accurately while following stringent guidelines and documentation specifications.
- Keep the lines of communication open with the family of the residents, answering their questions and making sure they are aware of the care being given to their loved one.
- Help with shift supervision to make sure that all employees are deployed effectively and that the unit always operates smoothly and efficiently.
- By following rules and regulations, making sure infection control procedures are followed, and acting quickly in the event of an emergency, you can keep your workplace safe.
- A licensed NMBI-pined registered nurse (RN).
- A minimum of two years of post-registration experience in an Irish nursing setting, preferably working in a nursing home or providing substantial senior care.
- Solid understanding of nursing procedures, with an emphasis on person-centered care, medication management, and senior care.
- A sincere desire to give senior citizens compassionate, high-quality care.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills that enable efficient interaction with residents, families, and the larger interdisciplinary team
