- Manage and maintain AWS cloud accounts, ensuring efficient utilization of services and resources.
- Oversee upgrades, configurations, and the overall health of AWS services to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Design and implement solutions to improve platform resiliency, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud solutions that meet business needs while adhering to architectural best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and tools to improve platform capabilities and efficiency.
- Implement disaster recovery and high-availability strategies to ensure minimal downtie and data loss.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks to platform stability and reliability.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs by identifying opportunities for savings without compromising performance.
- Implement cost management strategies, including reserved instances, savings plans, and resource rightsizing.
- Ensure the platform adheres to the highest security standards by implementing best practices for IAM, encryption, and network security.
- Work closely with the security team to enforce compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Set up monitoring and alerting solutions to track platform health and performance using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other tools.
- AWS Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, MSK, RDS, VPC, Lambda, EMR, IAM, EKS, OpenSearch
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional).
- Experience in multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations.
- Familiarity with FinOps practices to manage cloud financial operations.
