BookkeeperOur Client, based in Co. Meath, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have practice experience. The role can be part-time or full-time.Responsibilities:Preparing VAT returns and associated bookkeeping as required from books and records provided by clientsProcessing payroll records for clients on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly and yearly basisPreparing and reconciling payroll returns on an annual basisPreparing and reconciling RCT returns on ROSCompleting off-site bookkeeping for clients (reporting to Partner where appropriate)Preparing sole trader accounts to review stageAssisting audit staff on audit and audit-exempt assignments to trial balance stage / review stageLiaising with clients to ensure books and records are provided by clients on a timely basisDealing with client queries as they arise or referring queries to the appropriate manager.Covering phone and administration duties as required.Qualification and experience:Relevant accounts preparation experiencePractice experience is advantageousStrong excel skills and proficiency in accounts production softwareStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills.
