The Arab and Islamic Manuscripts Project is a specific project to digitize Library collection material and make it available. The post is to carry out the specialist conservation of agreed material to enable digitisation and general support of the project.*
This appointment is for the specific purpose of carrying out the specialist conservation of agreed material to enable digitisation and general support of 'The Arab and Islamic Manuscripts Project'. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis, as your role is tied to these specific activities which are expected to be completed within a defined period. The activities for your role are funded by an Anonymous donor and are not part of the core university funding. Therefore, termination of this contract will occur upon completion of the work in which you are engaged, or if the funding stream is terminated or withdrawn by the funding agency.
*Hours of Post: 35 hours per weekSalary: his appointment will be made on the Senior Technical Officer Salary Scale ( €60,520 - €72,709 per annum). at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)How to apply:
