We are also proud to be part of the Ingerop Group, a French Engineering Consultancy with nearly 4,000 employees across Europe, Africa, South America and Australia.We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Dublin.Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Company, recently launched in Dublin, but with the backing of an established Company in the UK and a wider Group in France. You will have the opportunity to work on major infrastructure, transportation and energy projects in Ireland and internationally. Working as part of a small team will provide opportunities and exposure to a broad range of experiences and responsibilities. Some of the day to day tasks will include:

Undertake and lead assignments in Ireland and internationally, collaborating across teams in a multidisciplinary environment
Deliver engineering solutions across a broad range of structural types and using local and international standard, including structural design and analysis at a range of project stages including conceptual, preliminary and detailed design; checking and analysis of internal and third-party designs; value engineering to review designs and assist in finding solutions and improvements for clients; finite element analysis and report on results
Prepare drawings, reports, calculations, analysis and specifications to report internally and to clients
Carry out site inspections, investigations and supervision for projects, liaising with designers and contractors to support construction works

Qualifications

Professionally qualified and Chartered Civil Engineer
Extensive knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies and procedures
Experience at Assignment Manager and Designer level with a proven record of managing commercial and contractual aspects and delivering assignments to programme and budget
Experience predominantly in large-scale, high-profile infrastructure projects, for a range of Clients in various construction market sectors
Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met, whilst maintaining a high quality of work
Excellent team working skills; able to lead, contribute to and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment
Knowledge and experience in structural analysis/finite element software such as LUSAS, MasterFrame, RM Bridge, SAM (Autodesk Structural Bridge Design)
Excellent Microsoft Office abilities (particularly Excel)
