Salary € 60,000-80,000The RoleAccounts Receivable ManagerPermanentParkwest, Dublin 12Salary: €60,000 - €70,000Office BasedMy client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager on a permanent basis.Candidates will need to have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.Strong Team Management skills are required for this role.Candidates will need to have strong Excel skills for this role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer account queries, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Actively follow up with customers in non-payment cases.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers to support effective credit control and payment performance.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure the timely resolution of any issues to facilitate payments from customers.
  • Set objectives and targets for the accounts receivable team that align with that of the finance team and budget for the year.
  • Monitor processing of invoices and credit notes.
  • Prepare month end analysis of the receivables balance, over dues and DSO.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports.
  • Organise records of invoices, bills and receipts.
  • Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the company's policies.
  • Support Accounts Receivable staff on a daily basis and train new team members as required.
  • Implementing rigid debt collection policies and procedures for the company.
  • Active involvement in integrating new company acquisitions to the overall group.
  • Assist where required on internal finance system upgrades that affect the AR department.
The PersonKey Skills:
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software - Microsoft BC experience desirable.
  • Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
  • Ability to accurately process numerical data.
  • Team management and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience in MSPs desirable
