Lead Document Controller – Pharmaceutical – DublinOur client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projectsDue to continued growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Lead Document Controller.Responsibilities
  • Lead and Oversee Document Control Processes Across Multiple Projects
Coordinate document control activities for large-scale projects, ensuring consistency, compliance, and accuracy across all documentation. Act as the primary point of contact for document management on Pharma and Data Centre projects.
  • Manage Document Uploads and Workflows Using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Maintain and configure ACC for project teams, ensuring all documents are uploaded correctly, metadata is accurate, and approval workflows are functioning efficiently. Provide ACC support and training to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and Enforce Document Control Standards and Best Practices
Implement and uphold standardised document control procedures across all projects, promoting uniformity in naming conventions, version control, and document lifecycle management.
  • Interface with Project Teams, Clients, and Contractors
Liaise regularly with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients to manage document submissions, reviews, and approvals. Ensure timely distribution and retrieval of controlled documents.
  • Monitor Compliance and Conduct Audits Across Regions
Conduct regular audits of documentation practices and ACC platform usage to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and internal standards, particularly for Pharma and mission critical environments.RequirementsMust have 2+ years’ experience using ACC (formerly BIM360) on large scale construction projects (Pharmaceutical, Data Centres etc.)
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
Must be based within commutable distance of head office in Dublin
