- Lead a diverse team of tech strategy consultants in delivering comprehensive solutions spanning digital strategy, CTO domain advisory, agile transformation, IT cost optimisation, technology operating model design, and applying digital across business operations.
- Engage with business leaders across the financial services sector to deeply understand their technology challenges and objectives, providing insight and strategic problem-solving support.
- Design and oversee the implementation of bespoke strategies that align with client goals and deliver measurable benefits.
- Apply strategic planning and management frameworks to assist clients with decision making and sequencing of major technology investments.
- Provide clients with insights of technology adoption and governance.
- Direct the delivery of technology assessments, strategy development, and oversee complex project executions.
- Ensure excellence in service delivery by setting and maintaining industry-leading best practices.
- Play a leading role in the development and ongoing delivery of a strategic plan for EY's Technology Strategy & Transformation team, ensuring alignment with the firm's vision and responsiveness to market trends.
- Drive the innovation process to continuously advance our technology strategy services.
- Foster and champion, a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and knowledge sharing, setting an example for team members.
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities, leading the creation of proposals for tech strategy services.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in tech strategy, mentoring team members and enhancing internal knowledge bases.
- Spearhead the creation of thought leadership materials, establishing the firm as a leader in the field.
- Lead collaborative initiatives with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive, integrated client solutions, ensuring a unified approach to client challenges.
- A Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Eagerness to pursue relevant professional certifications (Agile, PM. Technology Certifications).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or IT advisory, with exposure to consulting or leadership roles.
- More experienced candidates will be considered for a Director level role within the team.
- Experience working with top tier consulting firms.
- An exceptional academic record.
- Deep expertise in financial services and the relating technologies and trends relevant to this sector; banking, insurance, wealth & asset management and fintech
- Strategic and analytical thinking with problem-solving proficiency.
- Proven track record in strategy & transformation for financial services organisations.
- Profound interest of technology / digital strategy development and execution.
- Exceptional collaboration and team engagement skills.
- Strong client relationship management and business development acumen.
- Ability to articulate complex technology strategies to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with strategic planning tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of regulatory environments and standards relevant to technology strategy.
- Experience with emerging technologies and their application in business contexts.
