Business Sector: FARM ADVISORYJob Title: Farm Sustainability GraduateJOB PURPOSE: To provide advice and support at farm level in relation to current environmental regulations.REPORTING TO: Farmer Relations ManagerLOCATION: Nenagh / TipperaryRESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:· Act as support to the Farm Sustainability advisors for the Arrabawn Tipperary milk suppliers to aid in the improvement of water quality in the Arrabawn Tipperary catchment.· Responsible for uptake of the Farming for Water EIP with the Arrabawn Tipperary supplier base and providing support on all related documentation for the Farming for Water EIP application process.· Responsible for the increased awareness across our farm supplier base regarding the connection between on-farm practises and watercourse quality to drive a difference.· Advise farmers in priority areas regarding targeted use of slurry and fertiliser to improve nutrient management on the farm.· Advise on innovative approaches to land management to reduce nutrient losses in critical source areas and drive better farmyard management and practises.· Required to stay up to date with all modern technologies, projects, policy changes and otherwise Agri, sustainability related sources.· Aid in the planning and coordination of farm walks/farm events.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:· Degree in Agriculture, Food or related and a good understanding of Irish Agriculture.· Excellent communication skills.· Excellent computer skills.· Ability to work using their own initiative.· Possesses high levels of motivation.Closing date for applications is Thursday, 11th September 2025.Note: As with all positions, due to the nature of our business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time.
