- Partner with lawyers and partners to improve financial performance, including billing, profitability, and cost management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Monitor and drive performance across key financial metrics (billing, cash collection, WIP, and debt)
- Oversee financial control, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
- Prepare and review business cases for strategic initiatives and partner hires
- Improve financial processes and ensure alignment with firm-wide standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Strategy, and Business Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with senior stakeholders
- Background in professional services or a global organisation (law firm experience desirable)
- Solid understanding of financial control, reporting, and compliance
- Experience managing and developing a team
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Concur, or Power BI is advantageous
