Supply Chain Security is managed within ATC's Operations Leadership Team, and you are accountable for its overall success. You will lead by example, coaching and supporting team members and colleagues to succeed and driving initiatives.To maintain high security standards, we require high levels of visibility and reporting on ATC’s performance, quick responses to escalations, and strategic decision-making on ATC's operations strategies, new service development, and building business cases with your manager.Your dynamic work schedule will be based on operational security needs, split between management tasks and time spent in the field with the team or travelling to other regions. You will perform site visits with customers, conduct security audits, and build customer relationships. As a member of the Operations Leadership Team, you will commit to ongoing change management and be responsible for reporting and implementing corrective actions based on KPI outcomes, with objective data and suggested solutions.Our customer-focused approach is a core value, and your role directly impacts company performance. You will proactively solve customer challenges and implement corrective actions while building and maintaining customer relationships and reporting on successes.Role Requirements & ResponsibilitiesOperations· Own the TAPA TSR certification process, working with colleagues and departments to continuously improve ATC’s supply chain security standards and capabilities.· Responsible for managing Supply Chain Security operations in transportation, ensuring end-to-end security controls and measures are in place.·Continuously review and suggest process improvements to support customer service, effective communications, and improved security.·Together with the SLT and Operations Leadership Team, ensure customer-impacting issues are dealt with swiftly and to the customers’ satisfaction.· Continually monitor supply chain security standards for Operations and implement improvement mechanisms.· Within Operations, contribute to the RCCA process, carry out comprehensive security investigations, and implement corrective actions in line with ATC’s quality management system.· Engage with all teams to support the process of continuous improvement in all activities.Planning· In collaboration with the Planning and Business Operations managers, ensure security outcomes from the Planning Team by leveraging TAPA TSR certification.· Support Planning Senior Manager to standardise and document security processes to enable continuous improvement, efficiency, and reporting.Transportation·In collaboration with the Transportation and Business Operations managers, ensure security outcomes from the Transportation Team by leveraging the TAPA TSR certification.Technical Services·In collaboration with the Technical Services and Business Operations managers, ensure security outcomes from the Technical Services Teams by leveraging the TAPA TSR certification.Projects·Acting as a project lead, working closely with the Operations Leadership Team and Senior Managers to implement projects within Operations.·Defines and implements supply chain security work instructions, processes and procedures.·Implements exception management processes and procedures.·Creates ‘After Action’ reports to summarize key deliverable points of support.·Collects, analyses and maintains dashboard for metrics reporting: data collected will be used to drive improvements and forward decisionsPartnership Development· Maximize partnerships with internal and external management staff from business teams across verticals that include Engineers, Logistics, Risk Management, Customer Service, Freight Forwarders and other 3PLs.·Collaborates with external management staff to ensure supply chain security alignment.·Coordinate with external service providers to leverage secure handling, and secure transport of ATC's assets maintaining adherence to contractual obligations.·Conducts virtual and planned on-site audits of vendors and transit lanes where ATC product is regularly moved and/or stored / manufactured or developed.People Management·Create and promote a culture of staff well-being with a positive, inclusive company culture.·Develop a culture of accountability, customer awareness, and collaboration in the team.·Liaise with the HR Department to support the Supply chain team.·Set SMART objectives and manage performance, including development plans.·Conduct regular and documented face-to-face meetings and regular performance reviews with direct reports.Candidate RequirementsAbility to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure at times and to strict deadlines. Ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate:
  • 5+ year’s experience with Supply Chain Security
  • Insisting on the highest standards and ability to challenge improvements in successful teams.
  • Analytical skills and structure reporting ability
  • Candidates must have experience successfully managing third party vendors.
  • TAPA requirements, C-TPAT, AEO and other trade security initiatives experience a plus.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Culture of continuous improvement
  • Ability to lead and manage a larger group with a proven history.
  • A minimum of 10 years of quality logistics management experience in the supply chain, transport & logistics industry
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels, inside and outside operations.
  • Very strong communication skills to deal regularly with staff at all levels of the organisation and in all functions, when working closely with non-operations staff.
  • Proven capability to implement operational improvements to enhance service and productivity.
  • Proven ability to organise self and others to achieve objectives.
  • Experience in supporting and developing staff/teams to deliver superior results and a team development mentality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills; with experience and knowledge of ERP software, Excel, Word, and to a lesser extent, PowerPoint
  • Valid Driving license (required)
  • The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage.
  • A working knowledge of a European language.
  • Experience of MS SharePoint in a corporate environment.
