Together, we will build on our company’s long history and keep on leading the way to a better world.Discover your exciting roleExyte are now recruiting for an Senior Process Engineer to provide design and engineering expertise during the planning and execution of design projects within Exyte’s Biopharma & Life Science business unit within Northern Europe & Israel.The succesful candidate can be based in either our Cork or Maynooth offices.About our Biopharma and Life Sciences (BLS) divisionExyte offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the diverse needs of pharmaceutical facilities, biotechnology labs, medical device production centers, and more. From GMP and GLP laboratories to manufacturing pharmacies, clinics, and institutions, Exyte is a firmly established trusted industry partner from consulting and planning to turnkey realization and validation of high-tech facilities.Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Collaboration with client design team/end user
  • Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
  • Delivery of agreed process design scope within budgeted hours and schedule
  • Assist with technical and safety reviews, provide technical input and support to Process design team
  • Development of process solutions and process calculations e.g. hydraulic calculations and relief device sizing
  • Design of process and utilities including preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
  • Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices
  • Support development of corporate and discipline specific procedures and policies
  • Regular collaboration with global engineering
Show your expertiseEssential
  • Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering and design as facilities/plant engineer or consulting engineer within biopharma, life science or related projects
  • Required to be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Willingness for occasional travel
