  • To ensure that the kitchen is maintained to an acceptable standard of hygiene at all times;
  • Areas of responsibility: a) pot wash b) pot/pan storage areas c) Kitchen/larder areas and surrounds d) Rubbish skip areas e) Hygiene in kitchen and storage areas f) wash up area g)staffing areas
  • To ensure that all crockery is cleaned and available for the departments as they are required;
  • To assist chefs in any duties, as required;
  • Work positively within the team;
The successful candidate must have:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment would be a distinct advantage;
  • A communicative level of English;
  • Be a team player;
  • Be able to work on own initiative;
  • Be able to work under pressure;
  • Available to work midweek and weekend shifts.
