This position will be part of the PAM Adoption and Integration Team. Primary responsibilities will be managing adoption of strategic tools required for GCS PAM Regulatory and Modernization initiatives. The adoption engineer will streamline onboarding through automation and procedural workflows, collaborating with business and internal GCS teams to facilitate cohesive user experiences.Other responsibility areas are listed below:Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.What you will be responsible for
  • Manage multiple onboarding initiatives with complex cross domain integration requirements.
  • Work in an agile framework leveraging JIRA, prioritizing remediation work of critical findings, while supporting modernization initiatives for applications/platforms migrating to strategic landing zones.
  • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to understand their operational models and provide guidance for onboarding their privileged access to strategic PAM tools.
  • Design and implement sustainable onboarding workflows for ongoing privileged access management.
  • Enforce PAM controls and standards as part of onboarding architecture.
  • Maintain documentation for privileged access policies and procedures.
  • Attend vendor training and customer support events for Privileged access and other vendor products.
  • Assist members of the IT community with questions about policy and standards.
  • Design and implement new processes and procedures as needed to enhance security posture and controls.

  • Candidates with the following knowledge areas, though not required, are preferred:
Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, LinuxDatabases: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, DatabricksCode and Scripting Languages: SQL, PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, Python and an understanding of operating systems Windows and Linux and accounts management on these systems are preferred.
  • Cybersecurity Training: Experience with or knowledge of both Identity and Access Management/Privileged Access Management concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with APIs, SCIM integration preferred.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates should have a BS/BA degree in a technical discipline.
  • Candidates must have strong oral and written skills in English and have had exposure to technologies such as Jira, Confluence, Azure, AWS and other Clouds.
  • Candidates should have strong skills with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates should be initiative-takers, showing initiative without waiting to be asked.
  • Candidates should be meticulous.
  • Candidates should have critical thinking skills and be able to solve problems independently.
  • Candidates should be able to work well within a team.
