Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing organisation based in Wexford.This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable function including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment runs.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks such as raising invoices, updating customer records, and resolving queries.
- Assist with monthly payroll preparation in collaboration with an external provider.
- Support tax and compliance reporting, ensuring statutory returns are prepared accurately and on time.
- Provide general office administration support including managing enquiries and email accounts.
- Assist with expense claim processing, absence tracking, and employee entitlements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- 2 years' experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with payroll and accounting systems.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
