Hartley People Recruitment in partnership with our client are hiring for an ERP Transformation ProjectManager in Limerick.Are you an experienced project manager ready to lead transformative change? Our client is seeking an ERPTransformation Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end implementation and optimization of EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, managesignificant projects, and drive impactful improvements to business operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP transformation projects from initiation to post-implementation support.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, risks, and communications.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and consultants to gather requirements and align solutions with organizational goals.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure value-driven delivery.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support user adoption and minimize business disruption.
  • Provide clear and regular progress updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and stakeholder feedback.
  • Coordinate training and support activities to ensure a smooth transition to new ERP systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are advantageous.
  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in managing ERP implementation or transformation projects.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and related business processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience with change management and training methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sectors relevant to the client’s industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, utilities).
  • Familiarity with Agile project management approaches.
  • Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and testing processes.
  • Experience working in global or multi-site environments.
