Social Care Worker

• Supporting residents with their daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Encouraging residents to engage in meaningful activities and promoting social interaction.
• Providing emotional support, empathy, and companionship to residents.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress.
• Collaborating with family members and external professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework ( social care, psychology, youth and community work, nursing or any similar qualification) , BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Full clean licence
• All relevant certs up to date
