The Osborne Technical and Engineering team are currently sourcing suitable candidates for an exciting opportunity for Refrigeration Engineers to join our clients growing team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems in vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and vans.The successful candidate will be experienced in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration system issues and have a deep understanding of electrical and electronic components. They should have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or as part of a teamResponsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose refrigeration system problems
Repair and replace defective components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators
Charge refrigeration systems with the appropriate amount of refrigerant
Test and adjust system components to ensure optimal performance
Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to minimise breakdowns and extend system life
Install new refrigeration systems in vehicles
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components such as sensors, thermostats, and control systems
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Follow safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

Technical training or certification in refrigeration or related field
Proven experience as a transport refrigeration engineer
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and their components
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Attention to detail
Valid driver's license
