Barna Recycling, Connacht’s leading waste management provider, are currently seeking a panel beater’s assistant in our workshop at our Carrowbrowne Facility just outside Galway City. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to learn all aspects of painting/panel beating on cars, light goods and heavy goods vehicles.Duties & Responsibilities:· Assisting with all aspects of work in our workshop.· Assisting with filling and sanding vehicle bodies/body parts.· Assisting with restoration, refinishing and repainting work.· Dismantling and assembling various vehicle parts.· Washing and preparing vehicles for painting.· Maintaining a clean work environment and follow health & safety procedures.Skills:· Willingness to learn all aspects of work within the workshop.· Ability to use hand and power tools associated with the job.· Ability to work on your own and within a team.· Attention to detail.· Knowledge/interest of car mechanics.Qualifications:· Strong interest in automotive industry.· Experience in a similar role an advantage.Remuneration:· Competitive rate depending on experience.
