- 3+ years’ experience in a relevant management / supervisory role in a high volume, technology driven, time sensitive multi-drop distribution operation
- Experience within the Food distribution industry is advantageous
- Must possess a full Drivers Licence, Management CPC advantageous
- Competent in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Proven ability to manage a team to deliver the highest standards of service
- Proven ability to be an effective decision maker with a hands-on approach to the business
- Ability to plan and organise your own and your teams work activities in a safe, efficient and effective manner
- Ability to analyse, interpret and explain and present relevant business data
- Fluent English – reading and writing
- High level of flexibility and problem solving
- Strong knowledge of the Department of Transport regulations (Tachograph legislation, Work Time Directive etc.)
- Strong knowledge of the surrounding geographical area
