Chef De PartiePosition: Chef De PartieLocation: Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, Blessington Lakes, Blessington, Co WicklowAt Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort we are currently inviting all experienced applicants to apply for the role of Chef De Partie in our 4 star Hotel & Golf Resort.Work alongside our Executive Head Chef and Brasserie Sous Chef this is a fantastic opportunity for you to grow your experience.The successful applicant must have at least two years experience, preferably in a four star hotel and proven experience managing their own section.This is a full-time role position which includes weekends and evening shifts.Our HotelMore than just a hotel. Tulfarris is one of the most picturesque hotels in Wicklow. Our luxurious hotel consists of 89 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events. The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. All our food is sourced locally from our Irish farmers, cheese mongers and suppliers. We’re also causing quite the stir with our fine selection of beers and cocktails! Located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, the hotel is easily accessible.Your New RoleYou will have the opportunity to work as part of an award winning and enthusiastic kitchen team. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and flexible approach to work, and have the ability to communicate openly and effectively; and take pride in every aspect of what you produce to ensure the delivery of a high-quality guest experience. We pride ourselves on the food we make with and specially selected offering of sumptuous blend of tastes and flavours where world cuisine meets the best of Irish. As far as we can, all ingredients are sourced locally from Irish farmers and suppliers.Candidate Requirements
  • Always working on behalf of guests and working with other team members to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high volume fast paced environment.
  • To have strong knowledge of HACCP.
  • To lead by example at all times.
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining high levels of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness.
  • Responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service.
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the kitchen whilst taking instruction.
  • Take direction from Executive Head Chef & Sous Chef to assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
  • Be self-motivated and creative and be committed to quality in presentation of food.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • To ensure the standard of food and pastries produced is of the highest possible standard.
  • Possess the ability to follow standardised recipes, preparation and presentation standards.
  • To ensure the smooth running of food service with restaurant personnel.
  • To ensure all special requests made by guests are met.
  • To work in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are prioritised.
  • To ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications .
  • To ensure correct rotation of stock as per HACCP requirements .
  • To adhere to cleaning schedules set out for the Kitchen.
