In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of SME clients focusing on audit, tax and accouants preparation. Please note this position is 100% on site.What You'll Be Responsible For:Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a varied client portfolio.Support audit engagements from start to finish.Provide guidance and mentorship to trainee accountants and junior team members.Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering clear, expert advice and responding to queries.Leading and conducting audits across a broad client base, in line with auditing standards and best practicesPreparing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax lawsInvestigating issues identified during engagements and proposing effective solutionsManaging assignments to ensure completion within agreed budgets and deadlinesDeveloping and maintaining strong, professional relationships with a diverse portfolio of clientsDelivering high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional mannerWhat We're Looking For:3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or general accounting practiceACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress)Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidentlyAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesMeticulous attention to detail, a high level of integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality
